The Hampshire Football Association

• Formed in 1887.
• From its humble beginnings Hants FA now has over half a million people involved in football every weekend during the season.
• Hants FA has a regional structure of six Divisional Football Associations: Aldershot, Bournemouth, Isle of Wight, North Hants, Portsmouth and Southampton.

The IW Divisional Football Association - IOWDFA

• Formed in 1986 with seventeen clubs.
• Bashley were winners of Division One in the 1986-87 season.
• AFC Totton won the Premier Division in the 2006-07 season.
• Variously over the years there have been the following divisions: Premier, Divns One, Two and Three, plus Combination Divisions.

• Formed in 1898 with seventeen clubs in two divisions.
• The function of the IOWDFA is to ensure that affiliated football is available for players of all ages, race and gender in accordance with the FA and Hampshire FA rules.
• The IOWDFA runs the Isle of Wight Senior (Gold) Cup competition - one of the most valuable cups in the world, made of solid gold.

• Formed in 2011.
• Formed with a Premier Division and Division 1 East and Division 1 West.
• Now comprises 3 Divisions: Midweek, East and West.
